Because HP ElitePad tablet comes with 64-bit UEFI firmware, you need to check the GPT (required for UEFI boot) option. After your USB driver is burned successfully, plug it into your HP ElitePad tablet.

Unscrew the two 2.8mm Phillips #000 screws near the power connector.
Use a suction cup to pull the display assembly up.
Use the tip of a spudger to disconnect the two display ZIF connectors.
Remove the six 2.2mm Phillips #000 screws securing the battery to the device.
Disconnect and move the wires out of the way.
Lift cover.
Slide out the battery.
